For the best aroma, colour and flavour, use your saffron within the best-before period shown on the packaging. Proper storage away from heat, light and moisture will help maintain its quality.

Lightly crush a small amount of saffron and bloom it in warm water or milk for 10–15 minutes before adding both the saffron and infusion to your recipe. You can also use the ice-bloom method for desserts and drinks.
