Simple steps to extract the full flavor and color of saffron.

  1. Ice Bloom Method (for desserts & drinks) 
    ● Crush saffron to powder. 
    ● Add one ice cube on top. 
    ● Let melt slowly (10–20 minutes). 
    Produces pure color + aroma with no bitterness. 
  2. Warm Water Infusion (for savoury dishes) 
    ● Lightly crush saffron. 
    ● Add 2–3 tbsp warm water (NOT boiling). 
    ● Let bloom 10–15 minutes. 
    Best for rice, meat, vegetables, and hot dishes.
