Imperial Saffron Golden Latte

A warm, silky fusion of saffron, turmeric, and spices - glowing with golden colour and rich aroma.

🌼 Saffron Preparation
Ice Bloom Method
Crush a pinch of Imperial Saffron into powder.
Place in a small bowl.
Add one ice cube.
Let melt naturally (10–20 minutes).
→ Produces a sweet, aromatic saffron essence.
🥛 Ingredients (1 serving) Golden Latte Base
1 cup whole milk or oat milk
1 tsp turmeric
½ tsp cinnamon
1 tsp honey (or maple syrup)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 pinch ground black pepper (boosts turmeric absorption)
Saffron
1 pinch Imperial Saffron (ice bloomed)
Optional Enhancements
1 tbsp collagen or protein powder
1 tbsp coconut cream (extra richness)
Garnish
A few whole saffron threads
Light cinnamon dust
Crushed pistachios (optional)

☕ Method
1. Prepare the Saffron
Use the ice-bloom method and set aside.
2. Warm the Milk
In a small saucepan, heat milk gently over low–medium heat.
Add turmeric, cinnamon, black pepper, vanilla, and honey.
Whisk continuously until smooth and steaming (do NOT boil).
3. Add the Saffron
Stir in the ice-bloomed saffron liquid.
Let the latte heat gently for 30 seconds to develop flavour.
4. Froth (Optional but Recommended)
Use a handheld frother
OR
Whisk vigorously for a silky, creamy top layer.
5. Serve
Pour into a warm mug.
Garnish with saffron threads, a dusting of cinnamon, or crushed pistachio.
